Kelsey is a 2022 Zetema Project Fellow and an MBA-MPP dual degree candidate at the Wharton School and Harvard Kennedy School. As a Zetema Project Fellow, her role is to participate and present in Project meetings, contribute to Project research and writing, and enhance the Project’s network by engaging with the Project’s Panelists, Contributors, and staff.

Prior to graduate school, Kelsey worked for the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in its Health Care and Public Sector practice areas to expand access to care for vulnerable populations. In April 2020, Kelsey joined BCG’s Global COVID-19 Response Team and spent over a year designing policy interventions and collaborating with trisector stakeholders to improve health, social, and economic outcomes in the US and abroad. Highlights include devising vaccine selection and deployment strategies and facilitating public-private partnerships to scale distribution of rapid tests.

Pre-pandemic, Kelsey took a sabbatical from BCG to work for Clarify Health Solutions, a series C software analytics startup, where she designed and implemented products to improve quality and efficiency of care delivery.

After graduation, she hopes to bring her experiences across technology, business, and policy to combat health disparities, improve access, and transform value-based payment reform in Medicaid.

Kelsey earned her BBA from the University of Michigan.
